We are looking for:

Atkore, a recent recipient of a Great Place to Work certification, is currently searching for a Inventory Control Coordinator to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for performing multiple inventory tasks to include inventory accuracy, completion of replenishment, and allocation of manufactured and purchased materials required for customer demand.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience; or an equivalent number of years of education and work experience. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do:



  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and develop standard work procedures
  • Conduct inventory transfers, adjustments, and tracking into computer database
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel
  • Enter HDPE and PPC production and report on metrics
  • Conduct customer stocking agreement maintenance, customer order processing, customer releases and customer inventory review
  • Distribute monthly resin and impact modifier purchases
  • Create inventory ABL report for accounting team
  • Update records of continuous improvement report
  • Other duties as assigned


What you'll bring:



  • Associates Degree and a minimum of 2 years' of inventory control experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
  • Show initiative

Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Complete your Atkore immersion program.

Within 6 months, you'll:

  • Have a complete understanding of your position and it's importance to daily operation.


Within 12 months, you'll:



  • Be able to resolve issues quickly and safely, embracing Atkore's culture and core values.
  • Lead an initiative to improve process in the operations.
  • Participate in the PI process to understand a full financial reconciliation of material.
