INTERNSHIP - Industry Process Consultant

Role Descriptions & Responsibilities

The worldwide 3DEXPERIENCE Works team works with many groups across Dassault Systemes and the SOLIDWORKS brand/sales channel to deliver a portfolio of solutions designed for small and mid-size businesses. The Industry Process Consulting Intern will collaborate with people in leadership, marketing, sales and product management to support and help promote the future of CAD applications and SOLIDWORKS technology for engineers.

As an Industry Process Consulting intern, you will get to learn, promote, and improve the next generation of technology and products within the SOLIDWORKS portfolio. You will have the opportunity to influence the future of SOLIDWORKS in both technical capabilities and sales and marketing strategy.

Interns will play an important role in the overall success of these SOLIDWORKS products in real-life use across various engineering industries. You will affect the products themselves, their future development, our technical and sales strategy around them, while being exposed to the world of technical sales, research & development, and more.

You will learn how companies interact with prospects and customers, demonstrate products, define and execute strategies for marketing and selling to new and existing industries.

* Create detailed 3D models with various CAD applications focused on different industries

* Document your experiences and any issues/difficulties, and organize feedback for use and reference by the research and development teams

* Develop and create engaging technical demonstrations of products primarily in the form of videos and live presentations

* Assist with technical engagements with prospects and customers

* Understand and advocate for the needs of prospects and customer

* Become an expert and get certified in various CAD applications

Qualifications

* Actively seeking bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related program

* Experience with using SOLIDWORKS CAD or other CAD software required

* Experience with additional CAD software (Onshape, Fusion 360, etc) preferred

* Experience with video-editing software (Camtasia, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, etc)

* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred

* Positive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual that is willing to learn and incorporate coaching

* Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team structure

* Ability and willingness to self-teach skills, especially with using software

* Flexibility, creativity, and solid problem solving skills

* Desire to learn and "figure it out" rather than waiting to be taught

* Work onsite at Dassault Systemes in our Waltham office

The total expected compensation range for this role will be between $20 and $33 per hour. In determining the pay range, we take into consideration experience, pay of employees in similar positions, and other job-related factors.
