Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technology Leader to spearhead the selection, implementation, and management of a new billing and revenue management system. This role requires deep expertise in billing, vendor management, system integration, and team leadership to ensure the successful deployment and continuous improvement of our billing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the evaluation and selection process of a new billing, including conducting market research, RFP creation, and vendor assessment.
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of the chosen billing system, ensuring alignment with business, technology, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, integration points, and deployment strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with billing system vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with vendor to discuss project status, resolve issues, and plan for future enhancements.
  • Work closely with project and program managers to develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the new billing system is robust, scalable, and capable of handling the company's growing customer base and service offerings.
  • Implement best practices for system maintenance, data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the billing system meets their needs and supports business objectives.
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and users to inform future system enhancements and updates.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in billing and revenue management systems within the telecommunications industry
  • Expertise in billing systems including Netcracker, Amdocs, CSG, Oracle BRM
  • Expertise with revenue management and system integration
  • Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams, with strong project management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $141,372.00-$201,960.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
