The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Intern-Workplace Services Field Support) in the Enterprise Technology Services Division.

This is a part-time, non-benefit-eligible position for 19 hours per week.
Must demonstrate student status for the duration of the appointment. CURRENT SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE AGENCY OR HR REPRESENTATIVE, IF SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW AS PROOF OF MEETING THIS REQUIREMENT.
General Description
Performs support duties in an agency in order to gain knowledge, skills and professional experience.
Works under close to general supervision according to set procedures. Work is reviewed through observation of performance, frequent conferences and reports.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Currently enrolled in, or graduated from, a degree-seeking program from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to area of assignment.
OR
Able to meet the qualifications of a County Commission and Human Resources approved internship or apprenticeship program (Hiring Agency must contact Staffing Services prior to conducting recruitment).
Special Certifications and Licenses
None.
Preferences
- 1 or more Microsoft, Comptia, or VMware Certifications
- Minimum one year experience supporting VDI Endpoints at time of application
- Minimum one year experience supporting mobile devices at time of application
- Minimum one year experience supporting computers in an Active Directory Domain at time of application
- Experience in replacing and reimaging PCs
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office
- Experience in troubleshooting end user computing
- Experience in troubleshooting printers
