THE ROLE AND ITS IMPORTANCE

We are currently seeking a Portfolio and Governance Manager, an exciting opportunity to be part of our Global Technology division that is rapidly transforming the way in which we work and deliver impact and value to our clients. This role will be a critical component to this transformation, working alongside with and supporting the Process and Transformation Officer in ensuring consistency, compliance and alignment between technology investments and the company's overall strategy, business objectives and technical roadmap.

This role will be part of a global team and we are seeking candidates preferably based in France, UK, Romania, Canada or US. Candidates must have the ability to work with Central European hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a highly collaborative and technical role that commands an infectious passion and care about what we deliver. The main responsibilities include portfolio management and planning, governance and monitoring, business support, financial management, risk management, tech vendor governance, analytics, process streamlining and improvement. how we deliver it and why it matters. It is important to note that the constantly evolving and innovative nature of our Global Tech division may require additional related duties as and when needed.

Duties include (but are not limited to):



  • Develop and manage the overall technology portfolio budget, ensuring it is aligned with company's strategic business objectives and technology roadmap
  • Establish and enforce portfolio governance processes, policies, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance across all technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate, build and foster relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the business and division including business leaders, technology executives and SMEs including finance, HR, etc.
  • Contribute to the administration of Portfolio Management tools, develop and implement solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Conduct regular analysis and reporting on portfolio performance against KPIs, expected benefits and other defined metrics
  • Identify and mitigate portfolio risks by implementing risk management strategies and contingency plans.
  • Develop, implement and maintain IT governance policies and procedures with regular monitoring and analysis on risk and compliance
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the portfolio management team; staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in portfolio management yourself
  • Lead and/or contribute to Projects within the global team



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR



  • Proven track records in leading and managing complex, cross-functional technology portfolios and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex information to executives.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, risk management, and portfolio governance practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Proficiency in Analytics
  • Experience in process design and management, governance, and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Atlassian Software certification (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence and any other tools) including Administration
  • Experience with other project management and issue tracking tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Multi-tasking - can manage several concurrent projects and prioritise demands
  • Project Management certification is a plus


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced degree a strong asset.
  • Highly experienced in technology portfolio management, program management, or related roles in a global corporate environment.
  • Strong working experience in Atlassian Software (Jira, Confluence...) administration and support

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law in the US, the estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $120,000 USD in the US. Please note that we are a global team and would welcome candidates based in France, UK, Romania, Canada or US, where a different local salary range may apply. The final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
