Teaching Assistant Professor - Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Minnesota The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Minnesota, Twin-Cities campus, is seeking a promising and enthusiastic faculty member with a focus on teaching virology at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The primary role of this Teaching Assistant Professor position in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology is to provide high-quality instruction in an upper-level undergraduate course on the biology of viruses and an advanced laboratory course focused on virology, immunology and microbial genetics. These courses are taken by students in the College of Biological Sciences, many of whom are pursuing the microbiology major. This individual would also contribute virology expertise to a team-taught microbiology course for graduate students in the Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology graduate program and support laboratory work for undergraduates in the summer.
