Citis has one of largest US bank owned residential real estate portfolios (US-RRE) comprising more than $100 billion in receivables. You will be joining the US RRE Servicing Risk team. The Senior Vice President-Servicing Risk Policy is a senior management-level position that will be responsible for (1) Risk oversight of mortgage servicing risk policies applicable to bank owned portfolio covering end to end loan servicing and default life cycle activities including collections, loss-mitigation, foreclosure, OREO and loss-recognition. (2) Business units adherence with Citi retail credit policies and applicable supervisory and regulatory guidelines.You will work closely with the stakeholders in risk management, policy, independent risk, mortgage-servicing legal & compliance areas supporting both US Personal Banking and Wealth divisions on an expansive set of portfolio objectives to deliver performance aligned with Citis risk-appetite framework. The role requires a strong understanding of the US residential real estate industry, mortgage servicing landscape, supervisory guidelines, applicable regulations, and deep expertise in the mortgage default domain including Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, SCRA, REO etc., risk management in residential real estate (mortgage, home-equity). In addition, excellent communication skills are required to engage with, influence and persuade key stakeholders internally, often at a senior level. The role may also require some external communication with regulators and sub-servicer. The Senior Vice President-Servicing Risk Policy is responsible for determining the approach and executing functional strategy related to Servicing Risk Policy management and accountable for end-to-end results of the area(s) under coverage.
