Overview Winter 24-25 New Graduate RN - Atrium Health Cabarrus Adult Acute Care Are you a nursing student about to complete your RN education program or a recent graduate with less than six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking full-time New Grad RNs for our Adult Acute Care Residency at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Neuroscience: Provide innovative treatments for spinal surgeries, strokes, and more. Medical Surgical: Compassionate care across telemetry units for acute conditions and specialized needs including general, ortho OBGYN, oral maxillary post-operative, wound care and many additional diagnoses to offer a wide variety of patient care and clinical experiences. Observation: Work in our Short Stay Observation Unit for personalized short-term patient care while getting cross trained with our Emergency Department staff. Post Surgical Care: Provide care for unique patients after various surgical procedures. Progressive Care: Providing a level of care for patients between medical surgical and intensive care. Continuing Education: Receive up to $1,500/yr. for certifications/certifications and up to $3,000/yr. for a degree. Job Summary The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities safely. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served. Physical Requirements: Candidates must perform various physical tasks, communicate effectively, maintain senses and dexterity, demonstrate critical thinking and quick response, and pass a Physical Abilities Test. Education: Graduate from a School of Nursing with a preference for a BSN degree. Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license in the state of work/residence or if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works. |
