Entry-Level Construction Materials Engineer Requisition Number: 2024-1580-06 S&ME is looking for a motivated and passionate Entry Level Construction Materials Engineer to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. No experience is required. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer in training to grow in construction engineering and materials testing with the support of project engineers/managers, senior engineers, and office leadership. The ideal candidate should strive for personal and professional growth within the company with the intention of seeking a Professional Engineering (PE) license. Come grow your career at S&ME! About The Role: As a Construction Materials Staff Engineer, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects by assessing and verifying the properties and quality of materials used in construction. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Engineer, you will coordinate field explorations, field logging of soil samples, performing engineering calculations/design, preparation of proposals and reports, and project and client support.
