Shifts: We ask that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays

Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs. You will be assigned to the Continuous Operations Schedule (COS).



  • Dupont Schedule:

    • Rotation of 2-2-3 days on/off, with every other weekend off, 12 hour shifts (likely night shift).

Job Description:

Come Make More Moments of Goodness with us as a Warehouse Operator!

The Hershey Company Robinson plant is a non-union plant producing products such as PayDay, Heath, Skor, Milk Duds, Whoppers, and Reese's Pieces, In this role, you will work to maintain our highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, and be responsible for completing daily production paperwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Operate forklift equipment as assigned
  • Monitor overall product quality, complete required checks as well as associated daily production paperwork
  • Clean and inspect equipment
  • Follow safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and good housekeeping practices
  • Loading and receiving goods from trucks and moving them to and from storage areas
  • Operate Case Sealer/Robot
  • Refill/Supply production lines with needed goods to maintain operations
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the battery and performing pre-trip inspection
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a High School diploma/GED
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be flexible to work any shift - 1st / 2nd / 3rd as well as 12-hour shifts
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Warehouse experience
  • Forklift certified/push-pull (Two years' experience operating a forklift)
  • No previous incidents of having forklift license/certification revoked, removed, suspended, etc.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Forklift certification/push-pull
  • Experience in a manufacturing / food manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) / Standard Operating Procedures related to appropriate uniforms, gloves, shoes, hair nets, etc.



Physical Demands:



  • Regularly required to work a manufacturing facility and around operating equipment, and to stand, reach, pull, stoop and bend
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms for certain job tasks
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work will be performed within a manufacturing facility
  • The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to include but not limited to safety toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses/goggles, bump caps, hair and beard nets, and gloves
  • Wearing company issued uniforms is a requirement
