Job Description: Solutions Engineer Program Development
Reports to: Chief Growth Officer
FLSA: Full-time Salaried Exempt
Primary Work Location: Science Drive Location, Orlando, Florida

Position Overview
The Solutions Engineer provides support to the Business Development organization for Bid and Proposal (B&P) development, and program and project coordination liaison with Operations. The SE provides system administration and analysis for B&P and Sr. Management reporting. The candidate will use technical knowledge of AITC product(s) or service(s) and offerings to advise and support BD bid and proposal teams to develop and deliver technical volumes, and management presentations used to engage owners, clients, and brief Sr. Management. Candidate will coordinate and lead technical solutions and technical volume input through synchronization of participants and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Must be able to select and assign SMEs to meet required schedules, objectives, and input and recommendations for improvement. SE must determine equipment/product offerings and/or configurations, installation processes, and/or service delivery and implementation requirements. And will determine and assign areas of responsibility for solution development, proposal response, and provide input to Level of Effort (LOE) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) resourcing for pricing and analysis, and implementation guidance based on customer requirements. The SE will analyze technical specifications, assemble teammates to develop response, and review proposal input for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
Must be able work with a team for the specific purpose to reach a compliant response to requirement or client request and be able to facilitate input to an outline and ensure writing assignments are done appropriately to meet delivery and review schedules. Should be knowledgeable of Performance Work Statement (PWS) work scope requirements and how to break them down into Requirement Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Level of Effort (LOE) estimating, and Basis of Estimate (BOE) for resourcing and labor category assignments, even if not used on every effort. The ability to coordinate them through SME involvement if necessary is key.
Responsibilities / Duties


  • Systems Administration and tasks associated for the Business Development Systems, including Sales Force and SharePoint integration, SharePoint development, and input to Account Management to ensure data integrity and updates to forecasts for reporting
  • Facilitation of recurring management meetings, Bid and Proposal standup calls, data calls, financial reports and presentation(s) or agendas for proposal solutions and systems (i.e. GovWin, Salary Surveys, etc.) and program opportunity pipeline presentations and updates.
  • Support ongoing proposal efforts by coordinating and input to the development of technical volumes and solutions to ensure compliance with the Request for Proposal and Task Order-based activity. This will include Work Breakdown Structures, Bases of Estimates, and MS Project-based Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to support the bid and proposal process.
  • Data Integrity and Analysis for reporting, management of repositories and documents, cataloging of proposals and past performance, and development of templates, and library of graphics, organization charts, management structures, as built drawings, etc. for reuse.
  • Program coordination functions when required to support task and ongoing operational efforts or recompetes that may be needed from time to time.
  • Product knowledge CISCO certifications that that may be needed to support resale and building up of specific services to become a viable CISCO partner again.



Minimum Requirements



  • 3-5 years of Program Management experience in the GOVCON Sector
  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Business or equivalent (experience can be substituted for degree)
  • Proven experience with Network, System Design, Product & Software integration, and Cybersecurity services and support
  • Current Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)


  • Experience with AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio
  • Proven experience with managing customers/clients' needs and expectations
  • Active DoD Clearance



Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree in IT or related field
  • Technical Certs: CCNA, CISM, CISP



Physical Demands



  • Work is performed in an office environment; requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions. Required to walk in heat/humidity.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally and walk short distances
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading
  • Must be able to handle extreme weather conditions.
  • Must be able to travel on long international flights and carry travel bags/luggage
