The Opportunity: The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine (COM) Health IT Department is seeking well-qualified candidates for a Manager, Information Technology II position. This position will report to and be under the general supervision of the Director of Interactive Healthcare and Collaborative Technology. The manager will be responsible for the efficient delivery and support of interactive and collaborative technologies across all missions: clinical, research, and medical education. The manager will serve as the functional day-to-day lead in the planning, coordinating staff, and tactical execution of technical services necessary to support performance venues and activities that enrich the student, research, and patient care experience. The manager will have support and technical responsibilities for all interactive and collaborative technology equipment throughout Academic Health Sciences (AHS) including but not limited to classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, educational labs, and patient exam rooms. The manager will also be responsible for ensuring technical documentation and standard operating procedures for all interactive and collaborative systems that are current and relevant. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla.
