PURPOSE OF POSITION

Crew Training International is seeking qualified personnel to augment flying squadrons in the areas of operational flight scheduling, training flight scheduling, training, standardization/evaluation, unit deployment management, mission planning, unit training management, unit security and information assurance, and unit programs coordination. Positions will support units of the 432d Wing located at Creech AFB, NV and Whiteman AFB, MO. The 432 WG is a remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) wing, providing all operations, logistics, and support aspects of MQ-1 Predator, MQ-9 Reaper, and RQ-170 RPA training and employment. The operational and maintenance squadrons focus on Predator and Reaper operations. RPAs are currently being flown by pilots and sensor operators based in the Continental United States (CONUS) to provide support to contingency operations worldwide, as well as providing MQ-1/-9 and RQ-170 training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Training and Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with Link 16 equipment.

Knowledge of Engility JRE Client Software, Raytheon Solipsys BCS C2 software, Ultra Electronics ADSI Ultra 16 and TacViewC2 software, and Basic Linux Red Hat Enterprise 5.0 is preferred.

Completion of Link 16 Unit Manager (LUM) Course (JT-220) or Multi-TDL Operations Planning Course, JT-201 is preferred.

Completion of JT-102 Multi-Tactical Data Link Advanced Joint Interoperability Course is required.

Completion of JT-310, Advanced Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC) Operator Course or JT-301, Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) Course or approved equivalent courses is highly desired.

General Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, and flexible.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Outlook.

Security Clearance: Must currently possess Top Secret/SCI

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supportsfunctions as a network manager for locally operated networks and modify and operate equipment associated with Link 16 as required.


  • Providesthe correct information required to operate in the network (as extracted from the appropriate Operational Tasking Data Links (OPTASK LINK) message) directly to own-unit platforms and to other participants.


  • Extracts data from an OPTASK LINK message, as defined in MIL-STD 6040, U.S Message text Formatting Program, and to provide platforms with data essential to operate Tactical Data Links (TDL).


  • Alignstrack number blocks with producers as indicated in the appropriate TDL section of the OPTASK LINK.


  • Coordinates Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) Unit numbers with subordinate units and higher level agencies.


  • Actsas a Multi-TDL expert and interface between wing TDL participants and other elements of the TDL operational infrastructure.


  • Interfacesbetween own unit platforms and the exercise/host manager when wing assets are either participating in an exercise or deploying to participate in TDL operations managed by another unit.


  • Coordinatesunit TDL equipment requirements and the networks to meet local-unit requirements, to include interfacing between the wing and higher-level agencies.


  • Determinesthe requirements for those networks and identify them to the AF agency tasked with providing network support.


  • Ensuresunit operators are knowledgeable of and follow procedures mandated in CJCSM 6120.01, Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link Operating Procedures (JMTOP) when operating TDLs.


  • Managestraining requirements applicable to local and subordinate unit link operators.


  • Maintainsa TDL reference documentation library. The contractor shall obtain network descriptions and initialization data loads for all networks to include joint and allied networks, and maintain them in a local TDL network library for use by operations personnel.


  • Developsand maintains a local continuity book and review it annually.


  • Determinescontinuity book requirements for subordinate units.


  • SchedulesLink 16 personnel for 24/7 shift operations.


  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
