Job Summary: This position reports directly to the Senior HR Manager with a dotted-line reporting relationship to Plant Manager. The Plant HR Manager functions as the HR Business Partner for a manufacturing facility in order to align HR objectives with strategic organizational objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with and guide management in various areas such as employee relations, labor relations, leadership development, change management, performance consulting, diversity management, conflict management, legal compliance, etc. This position is viewed by the plant team as a partner, coach, and resource. Work Environment This position will perform a majority of job duties in an office environment where using a computer, telephone and printer are common. Time spent on the manufacturing floor will be required, the noise level in that environment is usually very loud. Employees must wear hearing protection and all other assigned Personal Protective Equipment. Temperature can range from extreme cold (<40 degrees) to extreme heat (>90 degrees).
