Labor and Employee Relations Manager Human Resources Full Time 79860BR Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Labor and Employee Relations (LER), the Labor and Employee Relations Manager works as a part of a team with a focus on supporting the mission of the UCSF Health. The incumbent serves as a senior resource and manager to other labor and employee relations staff. The LER Manager provides overall guidance to managers, supervisors and directors regarding all aspects of the Employee and Labor Relations spectrum; from formal training to grievance handling to specific guidance regarding corrective action for an employee. Recommends, assists in writing and provides guidance in interpreting and enforcing human resources policies, procedures and collective bargaining agreements. Reviews and counsel managers and supervisors regarding work related issues and progressive corrective action in compliance with existing policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements and the law. Position reports to the Director of LER. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $105,900 - $225,900 (Annual Rate).
