Position Summary:


The HR Physician and Provider Business Partner will provide strategic planning and tactical support to the physician and advanced practice provider groups. This position serves as a consultant to management and providers on HR-related concerns and assesses and anticipates HR-related needs; communicating such needs proactively with HR Centers of Excellence in order to develop integrated solutions. This position focuses on conflict resolution, change management, talent management, leadership development, and provider engagement. This position maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units' operations and objectives and must have excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization.


Qualifications:


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferably in business, healthcare-related field, or human resources-related field.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) w/in 1 year of hire

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources or an operational area in patient care. Must be willing to flex and alternate working schedule to attend early morning or late evening meetings and events. Ability to travel to clinics and other hospitals as needed.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines, develop business relationships, and anticipate potential HR support or operational needs. Able to work with sensitive and confidential information.


Essential Functions:

  • Partner with senior leaders to provide consultative support related to HR practices and processes such as employee relations, change management, talent management, leadership development and provider engagement.
  • Mediate resolution of employee conflicts and grievances; conduct internal investigations and recommend course of action.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to support overarching HR goals throughout the system.
  • Be a subject matter expert to deliver necessary HR training.
  • Maintains awareness of Provider benefit designs to be able to effectively explain offerings and advocate for change as needed including: compensation methodologies, time off arrangements for different specialties, licensure and certification requirements
  • Monitors key workforce metrics and identifies corrective measures for unfavorable trends.
  • Understand the purpose of APP Collaborative Agreements and assist with the execution process.
  • Involved in the coordination of provider events, including social and recognition events.
  • Serve as HR representation of various physician and provider committees.
  • Conduct provider exit interviews
  • Attend weekly New Provider Orientation
