Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Women's Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for educating healthcare professionals and patients on medication use, as well as compounding and dispensing prescribed medications for patient care.
  • Perform professional and technical activities associated with the distribution of medications, the maintenance of drug inventory, patient records and patient financial records.
  • Supervise interns and technicians for assigned area.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from an accredited college
  • Current License to practice Pharmacy in the State of NM
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operational systems which may include unit dose distribution, IV admixture, QA, DUR, Pharmacy computer systems, and automated drug dispensing equipment.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One (1) year pharmacist experience
