Position Summary:
The department of Mechanical & Industrial
Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) invites
applications for a part-time Data Scholar position. The successful candidate
will develop a deep learning model (generative model) for nonlinear force free
extrapolation. The appointment may be extended depending on the candidate's
performance.

Essential Functions:
The successful candidate will work primarily
with Assistant Professor of NJIT and be expected to perform the duties of a Data
Scholar, developing a deep learning model (generative model) for nonlinear
force free extrapolation.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Programming skill (Python).
- Basic understanding of math, physics, and data processing using
programming languages.
- Deep learning coding experience, especially
generative AI.
- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience
prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the
satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and
experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
