The Watts Water Technologies family of companies designs and manufactures valves and drains and related products that promote the comfort and safety of people and the quality, conservation and control of water used in commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal applications. Under limited supervision, perform varied mechanic repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as to perform building maintenance, which may include cutting/welding, plumbing, heating, carpentry, etc.

Pay Range: $25.00/hr to $40.00/hr- Pay is DOE (Dependent on Experience)

You Will:
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, by listening for problems and/or by using precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Remove old equipment and installation of new
  • Answer questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenance
  • Maintaining accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, as well as knowledge of general and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Perform weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and cleanenvironment and eliminate all hazards
  • Understand proper LOTO procedures
  • Possess strong rigging background with safety background
  • Oversee crane inspections and repairs
  • Ensure maintenance welding and specifying parts needed for proper repairs
  • Possess working knowledge of Low Voltage, 120V, 220 single phase and 230V, 480V Three Phase
  • Possess VFD and PLC experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for trouble shooting, repairs, and process and safety improvements
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct them
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting
  • Strong working knowledge in Pneumatics and Hydraulics (Troubleshooting)
You Have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and write clearly.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good judgment abilities to seek problem resolution.
  • Minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience with exposure to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and machine and equipment repairs required.
  • Must be available for weekend and holiday call-ins or for scheduled maintenance service work as needed.

Physical requirements:

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job responsibilities outside the typical office setting.
