Product Configuration Coordinator

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is a leader in energetic system solutions offered to aerospace and defense customers for a wide array of applications. EBAD products & capabilities set the U.S. standard and are highly sought after in the international community.

EBA&D seeks a candidate for the position of Product Configuration Coordinator, reporting to the Drafting Supervisor. The position is located in Simsbury, CT.

Responsibilities:

This position supports all business sites within EBAD.

• Create and maintain Engineering parts, including bills of material
• Create Sales Parts to support Contracts and business administration
• Inventory Part creation, including Customer furnished material
• Able to resolve part designation configuration issues

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have attention to detail and a positive attitude. Post high school education is preferred but not required.

Required skills include:

• Basic knowledge of configuration management practices
• Ability to read, interpret drawings and understand parts lists.
• Populate product structures in IFS (ERP system) including part transfers
• Ability to meet commitments, juggle priorities and remain organized
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite software (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
