Description

Purpose:

Work within Architectural and Design networks to identify, develop, and secure new business relationships and guide potential contacts toward Price Modern's product offerings and services within the industry. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with industry network representatives by recommending Price Modern's products, services, and solutions for inclusion in project opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop extensive knowledge of Price Modern products and services in order to effectively communicate the suitability of our products for potential project utilization
  • Extensively network / research leads (businesses, real estate brokers, A&D, community / industry organizations, business journals, industry publications, internet)
  • Maintain accurate and relevant portfolio of Price Modern projects, solutions, and clients to reference as part of marketing campaigns
  • Maintain regular network communication to ensure our products and services remain front of mind
  • Collaborate with internal team and corporate marketing to ensure discussions of Price Modern offerings stay on brand and within company capabilities
  • Participate in, and maintain knowledge of, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales objectives; volumes, margins, new business
  • Provides accurate and regular reports on relationship development and potential project involvement
  • Attend or seek out training opportunities to support account and personal growth
  • Extensive knowledge of product; lines, features, application and technical capabilities
  • Working knowledge of all roles and processes
  • Knowledge of workplace innovations / trends (Well, LEED, ergonomics, technology, work styles
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Training, Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, Construction Management, or similar
  • 3-5 years commercial furniture industry experience, design firm experience, construction experience or similar
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a great listener
  • Ability to learn and understand new software technologies in the industry, as well as understand effect on client experience and project outcomes
  • Proficient skills in Project Spec and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, innovative, and team-oriented environment

Working Conditions: Office 60% / Travel 40%
