About the Role: As a business analyst (BA) in the Policy and Program Strategic Solutions (PPSS) practice, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients through today's ever-changing healthcare landscape. NYSTEC is considered a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and analytic driven insights to support our clients with their healthcare program, systems, and policy challenges. NYSTEC has consulted on some of the largest Medicaid and public health initiatives and served in various roles across a multitude of New York State healthcare technology systems. Your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include supporting the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Office of Health Insurance Programs' (OHIP), Division of Data Services and Analytics (DDSA). As a business analyst, you will provide policy and business analysis, gather requirements, and devise data and technical solutions to expand the department's capacity to provide data driven insights and analyses for multiple NYSDOH programs. You will need to demonstrate the ability to problem-solve, take initiative on assigned projects, and work independently to provide based on client need. You will also be required to work alongside numerous stakeholder groups to elicit and document business requirements that pertain to program needs and current- and future-state planning. For this role, you will be required to attend in-person meetings at the client site, at a minimum of once every two weeks, and at the NYSTEC office once a week. Key Responsibilities

The pay range for this position is $79,793.00 to $109,716.00 per year.
