Join our Team! The Transportation Systems Research (TSR) group within the Bourns College of Engineering Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT) is seeking a Development Engineer and Resource Manager.

Position Overview:
This position offers a unique opportunity to blend technical engineering expertise with resource management, contributing to cutting-edge research and development in advanced vehicle technologies. The incumbent will play a vital role in both the practical implementation of research projects and the strategic management of research resources, driving innovation and collaboration within CE-CERT and the broader research community.

The hiring department can recruit and fill this role at different levels within the position classification series. The position is also posted as the Jr. Development Engineer and Resource Coordinator (Job ID 33682231). The full salary range for the Development Engineer and Resource Manager is $73,600 - $133,200 annually. However, the pay scale for this position is up to $90,500 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
