Qualifications
Job Type: On-Call Schedule: Hours vary Location: Kenai Thrift Store General Statement The Salvation Army is a branch of the Christian Church, and the ultimate goal of all programs is a spiritual regeneration of all people. As a result, it is a necessity that the employee will place emphasis on people consistent with the goals and objectives of The Salvation Army, namely, the Salvation, regeneration, and reclamation of men and women, boys, and girls through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, God's only Son. This position will be required to work in different locations consisting of the Kenai Store, Soldotna Store, Warehouse, Food Pantry, Church, and will be responsible for driving the vehicles, pick-up/handling of donations, coordination of volunteers, moving and rearranging of sales and storage space, and general maintenance including/but not limited to: snow shoveling/plowing, lawn maintenance, garbage disposal and janitorial duties as required.
