Animal Technician I-Large Animal (Temp)

About This Role:

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time temporary Animal Technician I - Large Animal. This position supports the routine and specialized care of hospitalized animals in the Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University by maintaining and ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for patients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position is responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of large animal common and ancillary areas of the hospital, and ensuring that the large animal facilities meet federal, state, and VHC standards for cleanliness and sanitation.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Experience with large animals.
• 1 year of relevant cleaning experience.
