Participates in planning, developing, and implementing Baltimore City Public Schools' discipline monitoring system to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations related to the discipline of students with disabilities. Conducts compliance audits and develops action plans to address areas of non-compliance with regulations found at the District and School levels. Collaborates with other District Offices and school-based staff to develop positive behavior interventions and supports for students with disabilities to create a positive culture and climate in City Schools to increase student achievement and outcomes. Provides support to school-based teams in addressing issues related to the discipline of students with disabilities. Essential Functions
