The Staff Specialist monitors and tracks special education procurement processes, especially as they relate to students in non-public school settings. Assists the Coordinator with monitoring and evaluating the use of special education resources and program supports, including grants, and makes recommendations for cost effectiveness and resource accountability measures. Supports delivery of IEP-mandated special education services by ensuring effective utilization of special education funds. Essential Functions
