Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Wellness, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure all fitness and Club services, protocols and procedures are followed
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the Fitness Center and teaching area including where equipment is housed
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all equipment through periodic service checks and reporting and issues promptly
  • Responsible for scheduling and organizing the daily business of personal training clients Submission and organization of proper paperwork for daily clientele
  • Perform various body work modalities including but not limited to restorative, myofascial release, ART, Hendrickson Technique, physical therapy among others
  • Plan and conduct fitness exercise sessions, personal training sessions, group training experiences, and in-service education sessions.
  • Maintain professional certifications (NASM, ACSM, ACE, AFAA, Pilates) while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertise
  • Maintaining current CPR Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Provide a high level of guest satisfaction through effective communication
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Possible Jumping; Bending; Running, as necessary to demonstrate exercise routines.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Hourly Rate:$50.00 USD - $65.00 USD Gross per hour
