The salary range for this position is $163,100 -$307,800. Dedicated large animal imaging faculty work closely with the surgery faculty to manage the sports medicine and lameness caseload. The Clinical: The position includes 70% (clinical track) or 90% (Health Sciences Clinical track) clinical commitment to the Equine Elective Surgery and Lameness Service of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). Individual will be responsible for directing, instructing, and supervising veterinary students and residents; providing health care and service to patients; managing advanced imaging referrals, and advising and consulting with referring veterinarians and clients. Veterinarian with advanced training in equine elective surgery and lameness. Completion of a residency program in equine surgery approved by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS, ACVS-LA) or European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) by the appointment date is required. Documented clinical experience and competence in equine elective surgery and lameness is required. Demonstrated aptitude and experience in teaching, particularly clinical instruction, is required. Documented record of creative scholarship or potential to develop a research or clinical program in equine surgery is required for the Professor of Clinical series. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere. Preferred qualifications
