We are initiating a search for research faculty at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The candidate will be expected to develop a substantial research program and engage in medical student, resident and fellow education, and participate in campus graduate programs. Candidates from any field are welcome to apply to study basic and translational aspects of the visual system. We especially encourage applications from mid and senior level applicants studying stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, genome engineering, neurobiology, genetics, cell and molecular biology, and artificial intelligence. Environment: The position offers an opportunity to join the thriving community of basic and translational researchers in the Bay Area. Requirements: PhD, or MD, or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent degree), at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience, and evidence of high quality independent research.
