Applicants must have a medical degree (MD, DO or equivalent), board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, have completed residency in Internal Medicine, and eligible to obtain a US medical license. The selected candidate must have clinical and teaching academic experience. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Applicants must also be eligible for appointment at the VA. This position will function as an important member of the UCSF Fresno residency and fellowship programs. The Primary Care programs includes the main facility in Fresno and three Community-based outpatient Clinics, as well as Women's health services. VACCHCS is a Complexity Level IC health care facility. We have an active and expanding clinical research program. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments. Responsibilities: The program is located in Fresno, California, a vibrant, growing but affordable community in the Central California Valley just a short drive to Yosemite and other national parks.
