Faculty Member - School of Nursing: Keyser Campus (Traditional BSN Program)

Description

West Virginia University School of Nursing: Potomac State Department on the Keyser, West Virginia campus, invites applications for a benefits-eligible, full-time (1.0 FTE), nine-month Clinical Education Track Instructor position. This position will report to the Department Chairperson. Note: This is not a remote position.

Faculty Responsibilities



  • Teach in classroom, small-group, clinical, skills lab, and simulation settings.
  • Serve on School of Nursing committees.
  • Attend School of Nursing faculty meetings and events.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications



  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN).
  • Two years of practice experience as a registered nurse.
  • Unencumbered West Virginia RN license by position start date.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Doctoral degree in nursing or education (PhD, DNP, EdD) or enrolled in doctoral program.
  • Two years of academic teaching experience in nursing.
