What You Will Do:

With a primary objective of achieving enrollment objectives targeted to increase enrollment for our undergraduate programs at National Louis University, the Director of Enrollment will be responsible to personally enroll students and manage a team of professionals to service incoming inquiries, conduct tours, and guide students through the enrollment process. The director will also coordinate activities with other directors to create awareness of our undergraduate programs at Community Colleges and other partnerships to engage student candidates looking to complete their undergraduate degree.



Essential Responsibilities

    Supervision of enrollment team members, managing all aspects of performance through data and observations of student interactions to ensure success in the achievement of enrollment objectives in the undergraduate transfer and degree completion space. Interact with students to support the efforts of the enrollment team and lead the strategy for outreach activities. Through creation and utilization of reporting tools, demonstrate solid understanding of student statuses, metrics concerning efficiencies of conversions at all levels of the enrollment process.
  • As a Director who also has a direct accountability to enroll students, ensure that personal productivity in all enrollment activities such as phone contact, personal interviews, tours, enrollment, and follow up with students meets or exceeds all enrollment objective standards set for all team members.
  • Collaborate with key management and leaders in the undergraduate programs to professionally represent the enrollment team, coordinate events, and ensure a seamless and efficient enrollment process. Collaborate with the marketing department provide insight into marketing strategies and to ensure the team has access to appropriate collateral materials for student recruitment purposes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management, leadership and/or coaching, preferably in Enrollment Management or Sales Management

  • At least 3 years of experience presenting to large and small groups of diverse populations

  • Strong database management skills, working ability to navigate a CRM system (ie Salesforce)

  • Analytical skills and use of data to manage and coach the performance of others

  • Team Building - Effectively motivates team members to achieve objectives while creating an uplifting and positive culture within the department. Ensures the department is positive and collaborative with all departments within the college and that the lines of communication are open and clear. Creates a team environment that understands accountability of the job and nurtures a high level of professionalism among all team members.

  • Training and Development - Ensures that staff members get a sufficient amount of orientation, training and developmental opportunities to maximize their chances of being successful in their assignments. Views training and development as an investment in employees and uses mentoring, cross-functional assignments, job rotation or other on-the-job learning opportunities to enhance the depth and breadth of skills and experience. Develops each team member to understand selling concepts as well as how to effectively utiltize technology to achieve objectives.

  • Results Focus - Achieves results within established timelines. Understands that obstacles will occur and refuses to use them as an excuse for not achieving results by being solutions oriented. Effectively utilizes all performance management programs prescribed by the Vice President of Enrollment.

  • Student Interaction Skills = Effectiveness at all skills necessary to professionally represent Kendall College and appropriately guide student decisions to make the right choice for their education future. Understand all features of the college and be passionate and persuasive about the benefits of enrolling in the college. Have a strong technique to professionally meet personal enrollment goals and to assist other team members in meeting their personal enrollment objectives.

  • Problem Solving - Takes a proactive approach to anticipating and preventing problems. When problems occur, defines those problems, investigates obstacles, gathers relevant information, decides whether solving the problem should be a group decision, generates and analyzes alternate solutions and arrives at a workable solution.
