*** In order to be considered for this position candidate must be serving permanently in the title of Clerical Associate, or reachable on the upcoming Clerical Associate civil service list, or eligible under
the 55a program ***

The candidate will perform comprehensive administrative duties for a busy operation to ensure data integrity for the Division of Fleet Services. Daily tasks will include but is not limited to:

-Perform administrative duties; assist in tracking, extracting, and reviewing electronic data from multiple databases
-Process vehicle information in M5 Fleet Focus
-Collect information pertaining to automotive parts and various supplies needed for daily operations
-Maintain office files and manage all 311 correspondence assigned to Fleet Services.
- Assist in preparing documents for procurement
-Prepare shop reports and maintain shop personnel records.
-Assist in special projects as needed and other related tasks

Minimum Qualifications

Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.

Residency Requirement

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of interview.
