Position title:
Part-Time Program Coordinator
Salary range:
Up to 20% time of Step I. See Table 36 for the salary range for this position. The expected compensation for this position is $59,727 (100% time).
Percent time:
10-20% based on need identified by the department
Anticipated start:
This position may start at various times throughout the fiscal year based on identified need of the Department.
Position duration:
The position duration will vary based on need or project identified by the department. It is anticipated that position duration will be no less than one year.

Position description

As the part-time coordinator of , this position will:



  • Facilitate programming in assigned area based on designed agendas and program plans.
  • Coordinate all operations and logistics of assigned areas programming as assigned by the Extension Leadership team.
  • Conduct business development with prospective organizations and companies in the region desiring assigned areas, or on an as needed basis.
  • Identify, engage, and acquire guest speakers, instructors, and other subject matter experts to support the designed agenda and program plans.
  • Evaluate and report outcomes a part of a continuous improvement strategy to Extension leadership team.
  • Identify topical areas aligned with up-to-date assigned areas for consideration of partnering organizations or companies.
  • Develop curricular outlines, program plans, and agendas for assigned program areas.
  • Curate high quality, academic resources for assigned program areas.
  • Other duties as needed dependent on project deliverables or desired outcomes as identified by UC Merced Extension leadership.


Qualifications
Basic qualifications

A part-time coordinator will bring the following required qualifications:



  • a Master's degree or higher in the related program area
  • a minimum of 7 years experience of professional, instruction, or combination of both in the related program area
