Description
Purpose The Dell Medical School at University of Texas at Austin in partnership with Ascension Texas, is seeking an Intensivist to be a part of the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. This physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to serve the growing need of the regional adult population in Central Texas to deliver world class post-operative adult cardiovascular and thoracic intensive care. About Dell Medical School As part of The University of Texas at Austin, one of the nation's leading research universities, Dell Medical School pursues innovation in the redesign of healthcare delivery, excellence in healthcare research, and programs in interdisciplinary and inter-professional education. About the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care The Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care comprises faculty in broad specialties (anesthesiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, emergency medicine, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, and urology) with a focus on delivering outstanding care to the community.
