Pricing Analyst

About the Role

Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing performance analytics for specific price promotions to help better understand how each promotion impacts JTI business. The incumbent will work closely with sales & marketing leadership team, along with Commercial Operation team by providing high quality market analysis and insights to help identify business opportunities to achieve company's business objectives. The incumbent will mainly utilize data sources such as TME, MSAi, Power BI and stores scan + basket data provided by 3rd party. Key objective will be focused on timely and accurate data analysis, and other support for Portfolio & Pricing Strategy and leadership teams.



What you will do

  • Analyze and interpret marketplace conditions using high level data, and make recommendations on key opportunities to grow volume and distribution based on key competitor brands (KCBs) and source of business (SOB) performance in each market;
  • Analyze RMC performance of specific trade programs to identify the best opportunities for optimization by working closely with sales and marketing team on a regular basis;
  • Utilize market insights from marketing & sales teams and develop robust monthly business overviews by analyzing RMC performance in different trade channels and geos;
  • Follow up timely and provide effective production of all monthly reporting's to Portfolio & Pricing strategy team to ensure proper actions to be taken for continued business improvement and strategic utilization of company's resources;
  • Utilize price elasticity analysis to determine optimal rate of return from varying promotional discount levels by state and development resource allocation recommendations;
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.



Who We Are Looking For

A dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented person, with:



  • 2-5 years of data research & analysis experience primarily within Consumer Packaged Goods or FMCG marketing and sales functions.Experience with Nielsen, IRI, Basket and MSAi data a plus;
  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Solid analytics background with strong proficiency in analysis with vision, large data set manipulation and consolidating multiple sources of data into coherent research results;
  • Basic working statistical knowledge is a must;
  • Excellent computer skills & expert proficiency within Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
