We are a small group at Nintendo doing production software. We develop the core networking software on Nintendo's game systems. We are looking for a strong C software developer that has a passion for network technologies and software, L3 and above.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Maintain and upgrade existing software, write tests, and diagnose failures.
  • Develop new features and protocols.
  • Perform performance analysis and optimizations.
  • May take lead role of software components.
  • Review code.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficient in C.
  • Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Multithreaded development experience.



PREFERENCES



  • MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Production-level software experience with C.
  • Professional experience with multithreaded software development.
  • Professional experience with sockets, SSL/TLS, or CURL.

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This contract position has a base pay range of $50 - $80 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
