Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $225,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The salary range listed is for base compensation only and may be adjusted depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range does not include variable compensation and is subject to the individual department compensation plan. Application Window Open date: March 21, 2024 Most recent review date: Tuesday, Nov 5, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Mar 21, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis is actively searching for dynamic and forward-thinking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with doctoral qualifications, who are enthusiastic about joining the School of Nursing Faculty. This opportunity is specifically tailored for individuals interested in contributing to the forthcoming hybrid Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)-Nurse Anesthesia degree program. The proposed DNP-Nurse Anesthesia degree program, under development, will help address a CRNA workforce gap in Northern California and throughout the state through collaborations with rural and underserved health systems. The founding faculty will be integral in the program's goals of establishing innovative partnerships with outside stakeholders as well as the UC Davis Medical Center. The program will also seek to establish pipelines for health care professionals from, and interested in, working in rural and underserved communities. Part-time and full-time, non-tenured positions at the assistant, associate, or full rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) or Clinical X Series are available at UC Davis Health, which is located on a modern, 140-acre campus in Sacramento, California. The Sacramento campus is home to the School of Nursing, School of Medicine, UC Davis Medical Center (including a level I trauma center and burn unit, and a full range of outpatient services), a fully accredited Children's Hospital, and an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Applicants must meet all State of California licensure, board-certification, and experience requirements needed to successfully practice within the state. Faculty members in this program will follow a hybrid schedule, with requirements to be on-campus for set educational, administrative, and school obligations as stipulated per contract.
