Sentara is currently hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

This is a Flexi position with rotating shift hoursPosition is located in Norfolk, VA.

Performs and analyze all diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Procedures. Performs to all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies. Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's Level Degree - NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGY OR Trade School Graduate - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY Required: Amer Reg of Radiologic Tech, Basic Life Support, Cert Nuc Med TechRequired: Communication, Service Orientation Trade School degree in Radiologic Technology or bachelors in Nuclear Medicine or related field required. ARRT or CNMT - Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT or CNMT must be registered within one year of hire.

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Nuclear Medicine Technology (Required), TS - Trade School Graduate: Radiologic Technology (Required) ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other/National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Certifications - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Basic experience of simple office / operational systems, Management
