Optometrist

Opportunity: Dr. Feenstra and Associates is hiring full-time and part-time optometrists at our Visionworks practices in Oviedo and Orlando, Florida. We're seeking motivated, hard-working, patient-focused, and growth-oriented doctors who are willing to educate patients on eye care and the best lens options. A doctor who understands the importance of online reviews to help grow the practice. Candidates must be licensed to practice optometry in Florida and have liability insurance.

About Us: Our practice strives to make all of our locations a happy and enjoyable environment for all our patients, staff, and optometrists. We are located in one of the top-rated cities in the country with amazing restaurants, professional sporting events and tons of entertainment, and its famous theme parks.

What You'll Do: Our doctors perform annual comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat eye diseases, handle medical emergencies, fit and prescribe soft contact/rigid gas permeable lenses, and updated accurate electronic medical records for all patients through our EHR.

This is an amazing opportunity with great pay and work-life balance. Hours during the week are 10am-6pm (last patient at 5 PM) with a full hour for lunch. We schedule no more than 4 patients per hour. Our practice also has a special need for Saturday hours. New graduates and experienced OD's welcome to apply!

• Pay: $500 minimum OR 60% of fees whichever is higher for the day

• Contact lens insertion & removal room with a wide variety of contact lens fit sets
• Two complete exam lanes and personal office space to make your own
• Being a 1099 employee allows you to capitalize on taxes
