Southeast Regional Sales Manager

What This Position Is About

Our organization is presently seeking a Regional Sales Manager responsible for directing all business activities of the West Region and identifying and developing human resource talent.

The RSM will work towards the implementation of the JTI USA sales strategies and programs in order to achieve the Company's sales volume, distribution and expansion objectives in line with the mission of profitably growing the business.

Who Are We Looking For - Requirements




  • BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred
  • 8-12 years sales experience in multi-national FMCG organization (Tobacco experience preferred)
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office experience required with proven proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Self-starter with demonstrated strong work ethic



Areas of Responsibilities





  • Achieve monthly/annual sales targets through implementation of sales/marketing programs and activities, and effective management and coaching of Regional sales team.



  • Participate in the development of, and implement trade plans that support corporate objectives.



  • Work closely with Key Account Management to identify profitable opportunities and to develop "Top to Top" relationships with Key volume accounts.



  • Lead the regional sales team by providing performance measures and feedback through company performance management system on a constant basis.



  • Keep management apprised of key issues, program evaluation, competitive activities, and market conditions to maximize opportunities and best practices.



  • Establish and continuously maintain effective lines of communication with sales personnel to collect and update competitors' activity and market information.



  • Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.



  • Work closely with and support the Sales Director in achievement of the company's sales development objectives to expand into new markets to meet business development opportunities, including expansion in existing markets.
