Responsibilities

This position has the responsibility of supporting the mission of the hospital which is to provide patients with the

highest quality of healthcare within an atmosphere of genuine caring. In addition, the respiratory care practitioner is responsible for the application and monitoring of medical gases, environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry, and assists in CPR. The respiratory care practitioner must have demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of respiratory care and EKG procedures required.


Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent with documented completion of NBRC accredited program
  • In the absence of completion of this NBRC accredited certification program, the candidate must have 4 years of documented full time experience in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Documented completion of NBRC accredited program
  • Must maintain a current CPR card.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • RRT or CRT
