Job Summary
Under general supervision, deliver patient care within scope of clinic expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Performs ocular examinations, including: history taking, acuity, ocular motility, alignment and intraocular pressure assessment, lensometry and refraction. (20%)
- Performs visual field testing, OCT, pachymetry, topography, biometry and ocular photography. (20%)
- Determines need/urgency of care based on patient information, medical record and presenting signs/symptoms. (20%)
- Provides post-operative instructions to patients. (20%)
- Provides explanations regarding prescriptions for medications and glasses to patients. (20%)
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in EMR, required.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required

Salary $22.48 - $30.41 / hr
