Direct experience working with diverse groups of trans or genderqueer populations is desired, but any cultural competency with trans or genderqueer populations is a plus. |
Position Summary |
Project AFFIRM is seeking a part-time employee (19 hours/week) to assist with a study of transgender, transsexual, trans, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and genderqueer Atlantans. |
Additional Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification |
1 year of direct experience conducting study outreach and survey administration.
Completion of a bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience OR
Equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education. A valid drivers license required and reliable transportation for travel to and from interviews. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
Microsoft office: Word/Excel. Excellent communication skills. |
Physical Demands |
This position will require occasional night time and weekend hours. The ability to work extended periods of time at a computer and lifting of 20 lbs. |
