Summary

The Adjunct Faculty, Exercise Science, will provide instruction for both exercise science and sports and fitness administration students. As part of the College of Nursing, Health Sciences and Business, faculty members are expected to be dedicated to excellence in teaching, actively engaged in scholarship, and service.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be certified as a strength and conditioning professional or possess an accredited personal training certification. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a Health Science related field (Exercise Science, Kinesiology etc.)
  • Teaching experience at the Higher Education level of 3 years or professional experience within the health and wellness field of 3 years.
  • Knowledge in Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm toward serving a diverse student population
