Past experience as a hotel, hospital, nursing home cleaner or custodian, or in residential cleaning is helpful. At the Hyatt Regency Coralville, we offer the following great benefits: $500 sign on bonus Competitive Wages Insurance benefits to our associates after 30 days of full-time employment Flexible schedules Room discounts for Hyatt properties and Marcus Hotels & Resorts properties Free Meal per shift worked Free Parking Free Uniforms As a Laundry Attendant, you would: Stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a washer and dryer on a regular and extended basis Wash all linen including sheets, washcloths, hand towels, rags, robes, etc. Issue supplies, uniforms and laundry Responsible for the organization and stocking of laundry room at the beginning and end of each shift Notify supervisor when inventory needs to be re-ordered Assists with deep cleaning duties as requested Reports any maintenance problems, safety concerns, or injuries to supervisor Turns in all lost and found items to supervisor Follows all policies, including proper uniform attire, OSHA standards and procedures and key control procedures Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene Perform other duties as assigned We are looking for rock star team members who: Have basic English communication skills and are at least 18 years old Thrive in a fast-paced environment Want to provide professional and friendly customer service Have fun working on a team Can lift up to 50 pounds We will verify through E-Verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired.
