Overview

Konica Minolta is looking for a Collection Representative to join the team on a full-time basis. The role of the Collections Representative is to collect on past due accounts on behalf of Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. in a manner that ensures a reduction in aged receivables and DSO, while providing excellent customer service in a professional and customer-friendly manner.

This role is also responsible for the KM CARES customer service issue resolution assigned to the Credit and Collections Operations team.

The position uses the High Radius Collections and EIPP Cloud AI systems to manage account open receivables, collection calls, promise to pay agreements, assignment of tasks, payment links to our customers, and all notes/correspondences internal and external.


Responsibilities

Debt Collection:

  • Contact customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to collect outstanding debts in the existing High Radius system.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines.
  • Record and update customer account information accurately.

Customer Service:

  • Responsible for resolving all KMCARES customer issues assigned to the Credit and Collections Operations team.
  • Responsible for monitoring, resolving and closing all Credit and Collections IW54 customer service tickets.
  • Provide excellent customer service while managing sensitive financial matters.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to their accounts.
  • Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor in all interactions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Utilize BOBJ reporting for company ATB (Aged Trial Balances) of accounts to prioritize calls, in conjunction with the High Radius Worklists
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of collection activities.
  • Provide weekly reporting of calls and correspondence executed within the High Radius system to the Senior Manager of Credit and Collections
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Credit and Collections team members to ensure proper account updates and tasks are completed.
  • Participate remotely in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Further education or certification in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • 3+ Years proven experience in a collections or customer service role, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient with basic computer applications and experience with SAP ERP Systems.
  • Ability to execute 80+ collection calls a day.
  • Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work remotely 8 hours a day.
  • Over-time hours may be needed during Month End/ Quarter End/ Fiscal Year End.
