Mechanical Assembler Now Hiring: Mechanical Assembler Location: Framingham, MA Pay Rate: $32-$40 per hour, based on experience We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and hands-on experience building complex mechanical systems. If you love mechanics, enjoy working with your hands, and get excited about building something with 200 individual parts that must all come together perfectly, we'd love to meet you. Job Duties Perform precision mechanical assembly of advanced products Assemble complex mechanical systems consisting of approximately 200 individual components. Work with small, intricate parts requiring exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and engineering specifications. Use hand tools, precision instruments, and specialized assembly equipment. Fit, align, fasten, and inspect mechanical components to exact specifications. Identify mechanical issues, troubleshoot assembly challenges, and resolve fitment problems. Maintain exceptionally high standards for workmanship, cleanliness, and quality. Collaborate with engineers and other manufacturing team members to build sophisticated aerospace hardware. Document assembly processes and ensure work meets strict quality requirements. Qualifications Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, machine building, equipment assembly, or similar work. Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of how components fit, move, and function together. The ability to work with small and large parts and perform detailed, precision-oriented tasks. Experience using hand tools, measuring tools, and precision instruments. The ability to read and follow mechanical drawings or technical instructions. Patience, consistency, and an appreciation for doing things right the first time. A strong sense of ownership and pride in the quality of their work. A background in aerospace, automotive, machinery, robotics, instrumentation, or other precision mechanical environments is a plus.
