Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic Wage: $60,000/year Shift: 3rd Hours: 5:30pm-5:30am Now hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for full-time, year-round opportunities with a growing manufacturing company in Northeast Wisconsin. Join a stable production environment where you'll play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently and safely. Training is provided, but candidates should have professional mechanical experience and/or technical education. This is a direct hire opportunity in Green Bay, WI. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, ovens, and freezers - Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, belts, pneumatic systems, and other mechanical equipment - Interpret diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications - Remove and replace defective equipment components using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools - Inspect parts and equipment for wear and operational issues - Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories - Follow GMPs, quality standards, and safety procedures - Complete accurate maintenance documentation and records - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Maintenance Mechanic Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of technical education or equivalent experience in a mechanical, industrial maintenance, or electrical field - Previous Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training and forklift certification preferred - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening - Strong attendance and reliability record - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours) - Comfortable working at heights using ladders and lifts - Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold storage areas and warm production environments - Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Ability to use ladders, stairs, and step stools as needed - Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude Benefits: Competitive pay and benefits package IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
